Article 79 Designation of Contracting States			Guidelines A III 11.

(1) All the Contracting States party to this Convention at the time of filing of the European patent application shall be deemed to be designated in the request for grant of a European patent.		OJ 5/2010, 286	A III 11.1 A III 11.3.5

(2)The designation of a Contracting State may be subject to the payment of a designation fee.			A III 11.2.1 A III 11.3.1 A III 11.3.5 A IV 1.4.1

(3) The designation of a Contracting State may be withdrawn at any time up to the grant of the European patent.			A III 11.2.4 A III 11.3.8 E VIII 6.1 §2
